PROFESSIONAL AIRPLANE PILOT PROGRAM
Completion of the following courses is the path by which the majority of commercial airplane pilots came into the industry. While there are other ways to build the required experience for whatever job most interests you, the industry standard to working your way toward jobs requiring higher levels of experience (and thus pay), is to begin as a flight instructor teaching others fundamental concepts of flight. Depending on the variety of flight services offered by your first employer, your first job could also involve flying tours, aerial photography/video and charters in several different aircraft makes and models.
